SCOOP - Death at DawnUpon the streets of Ravenblack bathed in flickering lamp light the discarded body of a lone vampire litters a gutter of this fair city. No, I’m not talking about the D’dary and the Scions. I’m not talking about Heorot and Inner Circle. I’m not even talking about RoR and their Lord Mushi carcass. It would seem in the deepest part of the night, in a hall where the first rule of fight club seems to be ‘Shut your Gob about what happens in fight club” Yggdrasil has crawled, run, leapt and bound from their secretively kept halls to wage their own personal war against a bloodline. It seems where the D’dary bloodline has gone up against a clan. We have a clan who has taken their ire out on a bloodline. I hear ophelia was wearing this cream number. Why I feel this appropriate to report is because Yggdrasil have to be one of the hardest clans to get information out of. Even from someone as auspicious as myself. In a marginally frustrating interview with the red haired menace herself it took a fair amount of will power not to yank my hair out. She did however, confirm that one Dawn by the name of Malicous was zeroed this night and while she didn’t, wouldn’t and merrily danced around the specifics of who else was hit by the Yggdrasil war machine did hint that quite a few more besides this familial Dawn linked vampire felt the burn of holy water. ophelia didn’t give a reason why Yggdrasil attacked the Dawn line but I didn’t expect her to. When asked whether she expected retaliation she did say and I quote. “…As for retaliation, if I had to hazzard a guess they'll circle the wagons and start playing cowboys and indians with us. You know, because they're so superior in the unpredictability department!...” This city is rife with dead and dying. You can hear the whimpers, screams and heckling of the excited masses as vampires fall and die in rapidly increasing numbers. I’m sure you, like myself are sitting on tenterhooks to see what will happen next. In my experience with the Dawn family I would hazard a guess that they will commence dedicated bitching and moaning from the sidelines while Yggdrasil point and laugh at them. But as I’m sure we all know from experience in this city, some vampires can do the unexpected and predictability is not the norm. Good luck to both sides. May you all fight with honour and die in a spectacular fashion we who watch can appreciate from afar and cheer on merrily.
