The Ravenblack Grimoire

It seems I've had the dubious honour of being granted an interview with Maverickschild, infamous flighty af Gyllenstierna. Now, those who are cognizant of my city history will be pithy to the fact that this is by no means a small feat on my part or that of the female who granted the interview. Intervening years and many a harsh word later I say now that I still have no idea who Maverickschild is. And in the end, I think that's just fine.

Who is MavericksChild?

Hmmm, that s a damn good question. I think my version of who I am, and everyone else s version is very different. Personally, I think I m an extremely fun loving, sweet kinda gal. I dunno, what do you think? *waggles her brows*

You’ve just come back from who knows where and I see you’re back in the public eye a little bit. Since you have a unique perspective of the city. Are we all really heading down the road to ruination and damnation? Where are we as citizens of this dark city going to end up do you think?

Well honestly, the city doesn t seem to be in a very good way. I was rather disappointed when I awoke again to find not only so many old faces I once knew gone or sleeping, but the place has been run over with ghetto vamps. Ruination, yes. Damnation, already there. I wish for the old days.

What happened, in your opinion, to the Gyllenstierna line? How did it go from one of the most influential, everybody wishes they were one, blood lines of this city to what it is today? Where did it go wrong?

It s all in ones perspective. We ve always been a quality over quantity family. That hasn t changed. We still have the same ideals and values as we did before we slept. I do miss my lost ones, but I m also extremely happy with our family being back to the small core unit. I don t think we ve gone wrong. And I don t think those that chose to sever went wrong either. And who knows, in time we may gain a few more. After all, We re real charmers.

What’s it like to be the daughter of Shikon? One would think with her penchant for being as much as bitch as I am known as myself, I can imagine being her childer would be an effort in trying not to plot to kill her. How do you handle being one of the favored few?

I plot to take her down every night of my existence. Really I do. But besides wanting to render her limb from limb, I am grateful to have such a cold hearted woman as a mother. She is logic, I am emotion. We balance each other nicely. One night though, I ll wear her skin as a robe.

And since we’re talking about bloodlines. If you had, in a pinch, totally HAD to choose a new bloodline. Which one would you go for?

*dies laughing* I don t know any current family names, except for the D dary s.*blinks* Honestly, I d have to say it would be between two that were very close to me once. ophelia or Bellina. Although it s harder to imagine Bell being a mother type to me. I may be forced to devour her.

Who was the love of Mav’s life? If you were to look back on your unlife and pick out that vampire and I don’t just mean romantic love, who influenced you the most, who is that vampire and how did they become that someone for you?

Madeye and Smilner. *She pauses for a moment. Then moves on.* Ahh, hmm. I ll have to choose Heimdag and Shikon, because really even before they were married, they were a pair to me. They opened my eyes to a new way of life. Took me under their wing, even with my Cap cooties. Without them, I would have committed suicide ages ago.

This interview was granted before she up and was hog tied to marry eeerrr I think it was Andre Louvrain wasn't it? And obviously granted before she was up and killed in the recent D'dary / Scion infraction.
