Yes yes, the war rages, rather limps... maybe even crawls along. More vampires dead here and there but no huge explosions, no extravagant funeral processions, just sort of a die and come back die and come back in two weeks ritual, that for the ones on the sidelines, is tedious at best.

Yes, the HoH side now hugely outnumbers the AoF side, yet all this killing, bloodshed and weapons abuse does not yet to have caused any dramatic one sidedness.

What The peaks in and out of shadows, moving and running back to her old position a few times a day, as some of her inactive cohorts, jumped out of shadows today, namely Hegemon and blaze, but with little action observed. While AQel rests, but jumps into the battle so that all of her childer and bloodline can succour, then complains about getting hit with HW, after jumping onto the line of fire and demands compensation since SHE is not attacking.

Tedious, yes tedious indeed. Looks as if both sides is wearing thin. Soon to be very thin perhaps. It seems like this would be a perfect time for an opportunistic interloper to jump in and stake their claim... but who would ever be so bold as to do such a thing?

The tedium carries us through to another moonset and I am sure another night of undramatic zeroings. What does it all culminate too? All of this just for the revenge of a single vampire. The weapons, vampires and resources burned like fodder, for the simple goal that does not appear to be even close to being attained.

All of this blood all, of these dead bodies, all this senseless waste... must be for one HELL of a vampire of greatness. In all the history of this city I doubt ever has so much been lost, just to see the ultimate goal remain so very, very far away.

I am not even going to pull out the lawn chair and waste it on this one. If you need the news, just read the same article everyday and change the names. Not many seem to even care anymore. Which is sad. Life and death, have no meaning when everyone is reduced to a number count. Including me...
