The Sum of WarThe war is winding down and indeed the House of Heorot and their rebel rousing warriors have basically annihilated the Alliance of Fire. There is no doubt that the House of Heorot aka HoH is a lean, mean fighting machine... organized and masterfully managed by their leader, Queen AQelDroma, who has shown herself to be the TRUE queen of the city. HoH, having slaughtered almost every last one of the Alliance of Fire aka AoF, originally had declared that the key target of the war was solely What The, and implied that it was her death that would be the culmination of this long and tedious war. Playing the card, that all of the Alliance of Fire protected her, as she hid in shadows... Yet, upon the slaughter of What The, in a completely unrelated incident to the war' The Unholy Alliance turned the cards. Sure the Unholy Alliance, made up of The Republic, The Ferrymen, The Hall of Rogues, The Enforcers of Enlightenment and The Sanctuary of Immortal Enlightenment, picked an inopportune time as well as a perfectly opportune time to kill What The. Having quietly watched and waited as they allowed the HoH side to weaken What The to a level that would create for them an easy kill, The Unholy Alliance jumped in and zeroed her. Just as was the case with HoH jumping in to kill Es Beacy in the SIE/CoB war. The action had nothing to do with anyone one on either side of this war, but everything to do with The Unholy Alliance and the long time debt owed to many of them by What The. Though their attack had absolutely had nothing to do with whatever it was that caused the House of Heorot and their warrior minions to be after What The, HoH... or at least some of their allies, felt the burning need to do whatever they could to steal some semblance of glory and attempt to make it look as if SIE and The Unholy Alliance crew were actually killing What The on their behalf. To anyone that has paid even the slightest attention to this war, it would appear rather obvious that The Unholy Alliance have no reason to come to the aid of HoH. First of all, HoH has amassed plenty of warriors to fight under their flag and assist them in gaining the glory they so rightly deserve. Second of all, The Unholy Alliance has no REASON to support either side, being that is quite clear that they have built their own side, which is as big and powerful as either of the two fighting, so they have nothing to prove. Thirdly, is that it seems obvious that The Unholy Alliance wants nothing to do with either side and the pettiness that dwells there from days long past. Well now, What The is dead, so the Unholy Alliance is happy, and now the HoH side demands that The Alliance of Fire renounce What The. This demand appears to be tactically a silly move. Being that the majority, or I may even have to say 99% of the AoF are certainly not going to turn tail and denounce anyone so close to the end and in so doing, rip the rug out from below the dead warriors that fought bravely for a cause. Especially now, that the death of What The did indeed NOT turn out to be the final result of this war. No matter what anyone claims, this war was a long due grudge HoH has had against the old members of the Dark Alliance, from transgressions long passed, no matter what they say or do, it seems all the obvious to me. They DID indeed expose What The for the true self serving being they have always claimed her to be, so if that truly were the case in point, this war would have been complete long ago. So what is the sum up of all of this? A Myriad of blood, warriors, weapons and coins have been expended. What The is dead. Thanks to the Unholy Alliance and thanks to the HoH crew for making it so easy for them. All the members of the Alliance of Fire are soon to be dead. Good, it will be quiet now. But wait, it was quiet from them before... House of Heorot are heroes amongst their own. But then again they have always been that. Some of the smaller, less notorious clans involved in assisting HoH, are falling apart publicly. The Church of Blood has a false sense of superiority that no one but them sees. Every one has forgotten the Capadocians at all. No final victory will be served, since it was demanded that What The be renounced and it is obvious that it will never occur. All in all House of Heorot and AQel... great job. You are truly a force to be reckoned with and the city now knows and sees you as the super power you are... congrats and well fought By Hesu at 2007-03-28 11:00 | Ravenblack | Editorial | login or register to post comments | 778 reads
