The Ravenblack Grimoire

In the Lovers section of the Ravenblack Grimoire, we encourage our readers to anonymously post amorous notes to their loved ones, send Valentines messages to complete stangers or advertise their availability and "preferences" if desired. We are happy to deal with both the sweet, holding hands kind of love as well as the dark and dirty sweat-drenched variety. All we ask is that the boundaries of good taste remain mostly intact.

The Ravenblack Grimoire (sporadically) brings all the latest news from Ravenblacks city, winning critical acclaim for it's (not so) fast paced news coverage.

But apparently he's risen again like Christ but on the second day instead of the fourth day and unlike Christ he's not preaching world peace or some shit.

He's apparently reanimated his soul into the newly formed body of Saint Lestat (just in case you wanna know where to send your sympathy cards) and just got himself hooked back up to the lovely Inu (in which case you should probably also send a Congratulations card too) which is like KING Lestat but not really because King Lestat was killed by God Ravenblack. But he's essentially the same soul, but you know, with a new body. Which would be kinda neat when you think abou it cause. HEY! I've always wanted bigger boobs so I should totally go that route and then find me a new body with like bigger boobs and smaller feet or something.

1. Readers may submit as many entries as they wish, although only one entry from each reader may reach the shortlist.
2. Entries may be changed at any time until submission is closed. Blatant plagiarism will reduce the chances of the entry making the shortlist, however.
3. While every effort will be made to ensure that the best entries make the shortlist, the decision of the panel of experts is final.
4. The site will be hosted by Madeye Software Ltd.
5. The owner of the site may only be transferred subject to written approval from Madeye Software Ltd.
6. The term of the prize is two years. If the establishment can still be considered a going concern at that point, further costs must be borne by the owner

The pub will consist of a custom phpBB forum board designed and structured to meet the winning entry as closely as possible. The look and feel of the site will be tailored within reason to the winner's specification. A custom web domain www.your-pub-name.co.uk will be registered for the pub, to give it a distinct and memorable address. If the winner so desires, ongoing administration of the board will also be taken care of.

In other words, the new owner will be free to just swan in, look beautiful and entertain the customers.

The Ravenblack Grimoire allows advertising on the front page of the paper. Advertising is offered completely free, so if you wish to promote your clan or group, or just have a message to get across, this could be the way.

An advertisement may consist of a graphic banner of reasonable size or text on the front page linking either to an article contained within, or to an external site. The management reserve the right to reject advertisements on taste grounds.

Anonymous users are those people who just come to the site to read the books or the blog entries. They wish to gather information or learn. They have no desire to contribute to this site.

All people who use of this site fall into one of a number of roles. These roles determine what actions they may perform on the site. This section describes which users may do what.

Over the course of time, this list will grow and, most likely, the roles will change.

The Ravenblack Grimoire is built entirely on Open Source software. As such, if anyone wants to donate hard cash, I would prefer it went to the Drupal project, on which this site is built (until such a time as the hosting costs become burdensome ...).

I would, however, dearly like a big stack of Ravenblack coins so I can grow to be fat and lazy. So, if anyone wants to give generously, please donate to the vampire Madeye.

Anyone who donates either to Madeye or the Drupal project will get an honourable mention on this site.

It is simple to register for Ravenblack Grimoire: just use the "Create new account" link on the front page. The name you register should be the name you wish to post under. You will be sent a password immediately, which should then be used to log in.

At this stage you will be allowed to post moderated comments on most of the pages on the site.

If you want to submit content in the form of a book or a blog, log in and post a message in the "Account Requests" forum stating why you want an account. Or, if you prefer, email Madeye.

This last stage is to deter spammers, not to be selective about who may sign up.
