The Ravenblack Grimoire

Yesterday, I had a quick sit down with both Demonic Diati and Majica Wilde regarding their conflict as it currently stands in the city. By the end of the discussions, I sent both vampires with a series of three related questions to answer. The following are the responses given by Majica. Once I receive Diati's responses, they will shortly follow (*pokes DD in the ribs gently* )

1. If it was publicly proclaimed that the Mafia was washing its hands of you, why do you think Demonic Diati has decided to stage an independent action against you now??

The Mafia may say what they want, but they never washed their hands of me. Lilac became tired of the fact that others were not falling properly into line behind her, and the only way to save face was to say she was done with it. Demonic Diati is proud of his lapdog status to her, and I find it hard to believe he would ever have the will or spine to act on this on his own. I am just a Mother to my family, who advises and cares for her children. If a so called leader like Demonic Diati sees me as such a threat without the whispers of a woman in his ear, our city is in much more trouble then I thought.

Two years of happiness together and still going strong! Here's to an eternity of love with each other for you both. Congratulations!

Today marks a milestone for Vermathrax-rex and Bellina. In a city where partners change as frequently as shoes, these two have managed to stick it out, weathering the storms of the city together for two enviable and exemplary years.

For two years now they have they have remained side by side, always passionate and loving with one another, always togther. Here's to the future Vermathrax-rex and Bellina! Congratulations on 2 years.....and may you have many many more!

The Republic, containing both The Republic of Ravenblack and the League of Shadow Demons, have dissolved their agreement with the Unholy Alliance effective immediately. A founding member of the Alliance, The Republic has reportedly cut all ties with both the Sanctuary of Immortal Enlightenment and the Hall of Rogues.

When asked, nitenurse St. John, Consul of The Republic, had the following to say: "An alliance is built upon mutual trust and respect. I don't feel it's there anymore." A rather succinct statement indeed. The staff at the Grimoire wish The Republic, The Sanctuary of Immortal Enlightenment, and The Hall of Rogues well in their respective futures.

Today, this fantastic couple celebrate one year together. Congratulations both of you! This is just the first of many to come.

A lifetime time can be judged by one's accomplishments. Love him or hate him, Lucius has accomplished much in this fair city. With that, it appears to have come to an end. After dropping out of the public eye, not much has come from the vampire, outside of the battle between him and his partner-bound's childers. The former leader of the Ferrymen has now rejoined the ranks of dead and buried, having not moved since his zeroing.

Congratulations to the happy couple. May you have an eternity of anniversaries to celebrate!

I've been sitting here at my desk for many hours now trying to think of words that will do this next article justice. The sun has risen, and set again, making way for the immortal that live by the light of the moon to roam the streets again. But what is happening outside these office windows is of little interest to me. Instead I am thinking of one vampire.

In all of the years I have been in Ravenblack, there are few outside my personal circle of loved ones that has inspired such an unequivocal feeling of respect. It is, in fact, a rare thing that one such vampire can accomplish so much in so little time and still remain standing, unbowed against the currents that dictate our fair city.

It was announced in the wee hours of the morning that Seyda St. John has stepped down from leadership of RoR, turning it over to the very capable hands of a wonderful new leader.

Having done so, both she and her beloved wife Asmia have also decided to depart RoR for a much needed vacation.

There will be a follow up story later this evening. Until then, ladies, best of luck to you both and to RoR, here's to another fork in the road that, for you all, will continue your travels into a bright and exciting future.

Lucius was zeroed this evening by Hesu and has left the city for an indefinite amount of time.

This is the first time the Ancient and notorious vampire has ever been zeroed.

So…the other side of the coin…the ex-Ferrymen spoke out on their view of the alliance situation…maybe its time someone that is still inside those walls speak as well. One, Damari had only a short stay within the alliance leader walls. So I suppose she of all would know about not being able to hack it. Cant take all the credit, she really tried too. The difference is...we removed ourselves, did she? But pointing out that Ferrymen couldn’t keep up with the demands of the alliance…well that’s just the point isn’t it? Maybe we didn’t want to put up with the demands…maybe as an equal component of an alliance…there shouldn’t have been demands at all.

In an unprecedented move that could literally change the landscape of RavenBlackCity, ophelia Lokason made a bold gesture tonight by severing her Sire Maverickschild, essentially breaking all of her ties with the Gyllenstierna bloodline. This severance will make ophelia Matriarch of her close knit family and completely remove her descendants from the old bloodline.

It had been noted that ophelia had stopped using the Gyllenstierna moniker for sometime now, but it can not be said that this move was in any way expected.

For many centuries the Gyllenstierna name was coveted as the elite, until it apparently began to unravel in time. Not knowing the circumstances, but seeing the effects, the Gyllenstierna as a family have not been the vocal power they once were and it seemed as if perhaps many had grown past that old world style of leading and managing.

In breaking news this evening. Copies of excerpts from a personal manuscript belonging to Lucius have been delivered to the Grimoire. These manuscript copies were left with Hesu by Lucius for safe keeping, prior to them surfacing. No one is clear about how the manuscripts landed in the hands of the Grimoire.

This document, being a copy, is allegedly written in the hand of Lucius and is currently being investigated for authenticity.

If the document proves to be in fact credible, new light on the Lucius/Amaranthe/Juddin Scire story may be revealed, offering new insight into the truth of the matter and exactly what Lucius' thoughts were prior to his attacks.

Earlier today, I had the pleasure of speaking to the vampire Juddin Scire on the current events in the city that revolve around the death of his Sire and the apparent conflict between Lucius, husband of Damari and two of her childe.

ophelia: I happened to be flipping through some of the city's newspapers and I've noted that the Grim seems to have done an interview with *coughs* Lucius. I was wondering if perhaps you might have some time in the very near future to do one yourself so that there is at least a bit of balance in this tale

Juddin: Could be fun, who are you reporting for?

I meet Lucius in a corner cafe.

It is a moonless night and the cafe itself is dark.

When I arrive at the facility he is there waiting for me at a table
casually sipping at what appears to be coffee and smoking a cigarette.

It appears he has been there for quite some time, for the ashtray is
full and when the waitress arrives to refill his cup, she is obviously
shaken and hesitant, terror in her eyes from an incident I don't even
wish to ask about.

Once I take my seat and wave away any coffee for myself I take note of
the vampire. Usually immaculately groomed I find that his hair is

In a fit of despair and anger Lucius lashed out at Amaranth and Juddin Scire Holy Watering them for what it appears to be acts against their own family.

A few days ago, Ferrymen leaderhip voted to alleviate the Ferrymen of their biggest hassles and Damari was summarily booted from the Ferrymen for undisclosed reasons. Word on the street is that her childer, namely Amaranthe and Juddin Scire, who are of the Church of Blood, where partly the reason for the long coming action as well as a question of loyalties where suspected spies were concerned. An important note we would like to make is that Damaris' loyalty to the Ferrymen, was not ever in question as far as we are aware. It is suspected that it was Damaris disgruntled nature and dislike for leadership that was causing a constant stir of dissension within the clan.

The city is balmy this time of year. The days are long and warm. The winter chill appears to have basically lifted and it seems to be daylight longer and longer into the night time hours. The grass is greener this time of year, and if you walk in the sun, there are flowers blooming and buds on the trees. A great deal of life stirring in this city of vampires and demonic creatures. This city primarily of the undead.

The war has ended and things are rather serene. A few vampires yelling about this or that, trying yet again to make people aware of their greatness that apparently STILL is only apparent to them and the few that allow them their time.

The war is over.

AQeldroma announced today that the war has ended. In her announcement in the RavenBlackCity facility she was heard to state “The Inner Circle war is finished”

The Queen of the great alliance also stated “I know many of you are sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for the ending, but I must tell you simply that it has ended with our goals met. The House of Heorot and our allies, which number many, came and warred and achieved our goals, and now, as simply as we entered the battlefield, we will leave it. Our opponents have already left, as they fell one by one and never returned to the battlefield.”

Hesu is ecstatic to announce that she has Sired a vampire she holds in much esteem and regard. Welcome to your new family COVEN. Watch out for Lucius, he ALWAYS gets the big piece of chicken.

Well word on the street is that Clan DOA is struggling. Apparently now they are NOT a clan and were never a clan, but a group of three clans. Seems there is a wee bit of a chest beating match over who REALLY was the MOST involved in the war and should get the credit. Was it D? Was it O? Or was it A? Seems to me the entire clan HELL the entire alliance should just take equal credit. Who cares who threw what when it is a team effort? It was NEVER about the glory anyway, at least thats what was said.

It seems that A (Hells Angels) thinks that D (Demons) claim it was all them, though it appears the D side is just counting the DOA as an entire unit, as it seems to me they should, buts thats just opinion, not news. As far as I can tell, no one has really heard such a thing.
